When you notice they have a tendency to tell people what they want to hear all the time rather than the truth.

Man tough on the guys this thread...lmao

I think the ladies can pull most of this stuff as well.

I think if on your first date, your date is passed out drunk on the floor. This should be a red flag...

Not neccesarily Pete.

That happened to my sister Jeanne and Her and her husband have been married 23 years. She is in no way an alcoholic. She very seldom drinks.

Red flag to me - when people in general are negative and even if you try to lighten the conversation they keep brining it dooown. Yeah, time to check out..

When they continually complain about all of the "bad luck" and never getting what they want in life...

When the 1st few minutes of the 1st conversation is questions about how stable your job is and what your living situation is (do your kids still live at home or how often are they there?) and how much do you help your children financially?

When you eventually get around to phone instead of online chat and they always call with their own phone number "blocked"...

They are only available on weekdays, but never on weekends...

Let's see, they would include, but not be limited to, intolerance, angry outbursts, lack of ability to communicate, jealousy, impatience, apparent arrested social development, inference of infidelity, hateful or mean nature, amongst other things.
I've learned my lesson in the past. I won't ignore these types of signs again.

That is an excellent idea and I although I haven't done it, mainly because I trust most of the people I've met, but a background check would be good idea for you ladies.
There are lots of kooks out there.
Be careful.

And definatly for the guys also; for all you know she could have been in and out mental institutions for years with numerous attemted suicides, that no one will ever tell you about....a other things. In this day and age, back ground checks and medical exams are a must; sadly...

When you write/talk about the big things you find important in life, like family, friends etc and their responses are vague, blasé and very short.....

Not nessarily
Flag 2. I like to watch beautiful women, well and if they
have a nice pair of eyes, why not. Now you tell me you don´t like to watch pretty guys, lol. And I´m not shy to tell the one who is with me, have u seen that girl and i won´t be bothered if she did it too. If i´m in a realtionship, i know where i belong.
Flag 5. How would u name it on the first date, if he would tell you, I want kids? Final panic?
Flag 6. Some people like body contact, hey you are talking about hands don´t you? never mind.

Red flag to ones who can´t jump over their own shade.

In response to your inquiry:

Re: Flag 2: I realize that it's a man's nature to look at women... There's no HARM in a look... when he's alone or with his friends... And believe me when I tell you, I'm not the jealous type... but when you're sitting in a restaurant or whatever, with a date... who's trying to carry a conversation and you are not focusing on them, but looking at another woman's (ahem) whatever... and WORSE, being totally oblivious that your date NOTICES it... that is RUDE. On the flip side.. would you like to try to talk to a woman who shows very interest in what you have to say, because her attention is all of a sudden drawn to some handsome "Chippendale" hunk that just walked by, sat down nearby and starts salivating over him. Or worse, tells you she has to go "powder her nose" and winds up leaving with the handsome hunk... how would that make you feel? In my case, I wouldn't be hurt at all if a guy would do that to me... automatically I would think he's not worth it... u see?

Re: Flag 5: I'm not sure what you are trying to say.. emphasize more clearly.. Otherwise, if someone would tell me he doesn't want kids... would be an automatic walk out for me because I already HAVE an 8 year old... no use for any long term relationship right then and there.

Re: Flag 6: Glad you can understand now.
