Dear Santa,
You must get tired of me asking for the same thing year after year. It is my Christmas wish each year, my New Year's wish each year, and the wish that I don't tell anybody about when I blow out my birthday candles every year.
As with so many, many people, my wish seems so simple, yet, it's the most difficult thing to find...Love. The kind of love that knocks down my walls; the kind that allows someone special to see me many faults and flaws, but accept them as I would accept their's; the kind of love that surpasses physical imperfections and allows someone to see something pure and true within me; the kind of Love where someone would be proud to have me their side.
Many of us have never had this kind of love, and it leave us wondering sometimes if we truly are unloveable. Or if we simply weren't meant to find Love in this lifetime.
Yet, we remain alone rather than be with someone who we know is not our magnet. We can't make ourselves love when it really isn't there.
So, we continue to hope and this is my wish Dear Santa that this year, 2014, we all find Love.
