That was brutal. Hopefully it will make people think a little bit more about their driving.

Driving ads in the UK used to be brutal, but it was found if they're too brutal, people blank them out and ignore them.

This one is quite interesting, though, for it's manner of personalisation. I wonder how effective it is, or whether it just preaches to the converted.

dunno

Yes, actually, I am a very good driver. I am fairly confident at most aspects of driving and, in fact, its been suggested to me by many (all independently, of course) that I take my Advanced Driver's Certification. The only thing, in a very girly way, is that I am crap at parallel parking!!
doh

My ex husband did one and passed, Its something that, here in the UK, is directed by the Police. Its something that is, apparently, quite rigid, and I do believe I can pass. You have to pay for it though and I don't, at present, have the funds. If it involves parallel parking, though.... I'm sunk!!
uh oh

I thought that cars park end to end on most streets? I suppose up here in the far north, we say, "Once around, a car park is found"
No point really, sorry

Parallel parking is end-to-end, yes. Its not just me, may people seem to have a problem with it.

If you don't, then you are a better person than I....

jono7: sorry that happened to you Pete

when i lived in Penrith, i used an international driver's license and purchased insurance for my car.
then i was told it only covered me for highway driving and not the 40 minute road to where i was living...
told me it was called 'knock to knock' due to being one lane only..?....

is that true? (no pun on your name intended......but what a good idea for a thread...'Is that tru'...)
...unless it was on camera.....that's true....it your word against .theres....so you both pay for your damage....think I,m right in saying that......hi......Jono......wave
