Unfortunately, I do finish every book I read. I may read any where from 1-3 more in between but the book does get finished.

I don't know why I finish no matter how bad the book may be, except that it's something I started and it needs to be finished.

I am NOT interested in you and am only asking to curious so that others in your "demographics" get to see a bit of you - and well if this is how you treat people in general.....

it's a good thing they can see this.....

I have done my service under the "buyer beware" category. very happy

lifeisadream: To finish or not to finish......Reading a book.

Sometimes, the book in turn is
not that interesting
or the subject seems to go far off
or the way the author goes is not your cup of tea.
Do you finish reading that book or just switch to another one?
If you decide not to finish reading that book:
what would the reason be behind it?

Thanks in advance.
The first couple of paragraphs grab my attention or I don't read the book. (A book worth reading is really good from the first page on).

When I say read something not marketed at you or your demographic, I mean read something you wouldn't expect a middle aged liberal White woman in America to read - e.g. read something that isn't endorsed by Oprah. What I'm saying is broaden your horizons.
