LadyLori: We've all seen the movies, heard the stories or maybe even know a person or two, who has married someone for their money and/or security.
There is no way I could do that. I am a firm believer in one needs passion/love in their life, and I could never give that up, simply to be "taken care of".
I take pride in earning my way in life, but I am also a very passionate/loving woman, so could never give that up.

In an ideal world I would like both. But if I had to chose, knowing what I do now, I would go for security in a hearbeat.
Passion doesnt pay the bills or put food on the table, it doesnt stop you from lying awake at night sick with the worry of having no money to feed your children or keep a roof over their heads.
At 21 I married for love and passion not m9ney, at 51 I know which is necessary to survive.
