He took power by force, he created his own kingdom of death, he was a minority ruling a majority by committing atrocities. He use chemical weapon against his own people, with usa help started a war against Iran. He invaded Kuwait, and that was his end.

he hung on to power,thats why bush1 stopped 1st war,his son ignored him.

helped install Saddam to power in 75. It did not work out as they all hoped.laugh

Nope. laugh It wasn't really until 1982 and afterwards that the US started opining up lines of credit and *some* weaponry. The main suppliers were the Soviet Union, France.
