Picture ratings - ummm really? (8)
rating pics is a very dangerous thing imo. lets face it, people only put their picture up coz they want others to say how great they look.
it seems petty and childish.

You can switch off the photo rating (then no one can rate your photos). I have done so and don't rate photos of others.

I think it's easier to chat with people if a photo is present but I would feel wrong to rate photo. I am so uncomfortable in front of a camera. We all judge and I make up my mind about someone by choice of words, tone generated in post. Okay I do not like tats but I would not judge them on their tats alone.
Okay we do not have to rate if we wish not too but why is it there anyway?
This will generate some discussion I hope.
