Hello everyone. How exciting for those of us around the world who follow a little of the royal family. A princess for William and Kate. Cannot wait to hear of her name!!!
48 is great. Lieing is a trust breaker no matter how small as age. Not everyone ages gracefully but so be it. So lieing about your age for what purpose?
Good evening. Last three days of the world really just spinning and spinning. Of course the vomiting. Been happening last few months so ignored possibility of new glasses. But after tablets working to some extent have reverted to old glasses and so maybe the last week and especially last 3 days - the glasses. Unless middle ear thing and glasses just do not like one another
Have already discussed this with parents and siblings. A nurse during the day then in the evenings i would do what is necessary. My life is to be lead and I am but they too are a part of my life.
I was single when I joined. I liked to read the blogs and sometimes join in. The banter is fun. Besides no one one seriously looks at profiles looking for a "someone anyway". All about cyber interaction through harmless , topical conversations.
Hi all how are we on this lovely ( well for me Wednesday evening) ?
My preference ummmmm???
Loving, comfortable, humour, practable, honest - what you see is what you get, thoughtful, loving, passionate, independent, determined to make it work.
Gosh how lucky am i with a man despite his little disability i have scored. Full happy marks to us both.
Hope you are all in a super long term relatiobship. Awesome feeling would you not agree!!!!
Sitting back relaxing reading as you do whilst on holidays. A student as a farewell gift gave me Shirley Maclaine's book : what if.... great read so far.
These forums are great and although i do not comment on many i love the conversations.
I have had fun chatting with would be scammers but they soon move on when they realise i was true to my word. If out to deceive in land of cyber go on your merry way!! And they have on their own accord.
But i have also been very lucky. On CS i found my current friend and we have been going well for two months and the road forward looks great.
It feels wonderful to say how a site in cyber can reap positive rewards. I am staying here though as i really do enjoy reading these forums and sometimes jumping in.
I laugh as I reply... i am a chatter box at the best of times - but i find sometimes the banter between you guys is pretty tight and sometimes i feel its not right to step in.
I enjoyed this thread and thought why not jump in.
Good luck and you might be surprised by how lucky you will be.
I am afraid not as generous as some. I buy to read to keep the book shelf warm. Happy to lend.
A random act of kindness. A colleague knew i had all of Bryce Courtney in hardback except for 2 books. When she was exchanging books she fluked tge two and got them for me. Nice indeed. Now i have every book he wrote and in hardback!!
Like you fellow book lovers i limited the number to three as i could have gone on with a list of pure delights between pages.
Authors i have enjoyed over the decades to name a few: wilbur smith, bryce courtney, john sternbeck, Bronte sisters, shakespeare, colleen mccough (sp) first book of hers was the Thorn Birds.
Books with historical threads i love. So tranter for instance with scottish history. Clan of the cave bear series.
Love to escape with simple story telling of maeve binchey. Oh the tears and joy of watership down and the lovely little moles and co in the dunction series of books by horwood.
Hi all. Which have been your 3 best books you have read and enjoyed.
For me so many to choose from so here i go:-
1. Jane Eyre 2. Merry go round in the sea 3. 7 books in a series by cynthia voight and the names escape me. Read them 26 yrs ago on recomnendation of a student i was teaching at the time. Diceys Song is book 1.
RE: Walter Palmer the dentist who killed Cesil the lion.
Of course he and those with him should stand trial. However our society at present favours the bad.
I for one will not hold my breath for justice to be served.
