RE: Walter Palmer the dentist who killed Cesil the lion.

Of course he and those with him should stand trial.

However our society at present favours the bad.

I for one will not hold my breath for justice to be served.

RE: If you lie about your age on CS are you actually....

48 is great. Lieing is a trust breaker no matter how small as age. Not everyone ages gracefully but so be it. So lieing about your age for what purpose?

RE: Melbourne is irrational

I love Melbourne no matter her weather!!!!

Why is telling the truth so darn hard for so many people?

I am interested to hear why at times little white lies are okay. But the bigger ones!!! What are the bigger ones?

RE: LADIES.....WERE YOU A TOMBOY OR A PRINCESS AS A LITTLE GIRL

Loved playing cricket with my brother and his friends.

Never into tea parties but had my dolls set up for playing schools and creating a library with my books.

So perhaps neither of the two.

Still not fussed on dresses ( okay love them a little) but love books and being in the classroom. cheering

RE: If you are "Not Single, Not Looking" Why do you have a profile on a DATING SITE???

I was single when I joined. I liked to read the blogs and sometimes join in. The banter is fun. Besides no one one seriously looks at profiles looking for a "someone anyway". All about cyber interaction through harmless , topical conversations.

Happy Sunday all!!

RE: loose women aren't as lonely as YOU ?

Love this ' loose ' term. So under 10 lovers allows her the luxury of being 'tight'!!

Loose, tight either way not a pleasant description for the woman yet its a polite one. BUT lets hear if we think loose for men is okay.

RE: Which types of men or women would you date?

RE: Giving up!

These forums are great and although i do not comment on many i love the conversations.

I have had fun chatting with would be scammers but they soon move on when they realise i was true to my word. If out to deceive in land of cyber go on your merry way!! And they have on their own accord.

But i have also been very lucky. On CS i found my current friend and we have been going well for two months and the road forward looks great.

It feels wonderful to say how a site in cyber can reap positive rewards.
I am staying here though as i really do enjoy reading these forums and sometimes jumping in.

Accept the welcomes and staycheering

RE: Missing

I laugh as I reply... i am a chatter box at the best of times - but i find sometimes the banter between you guys is pretty tight and sometimes i feel its not right to step in.

I enjoyed this thread and thought why not jump in.

Pleased i didwave

RE: Missing

Actually some conversations i have missed and the sense of humour expressed. However reading the various blogs makes up for those missing in actionbanana

three best books you have ever read

Good luck and you might be surprised by how lucky you will be.

I am afraid not as generous as some. I buy to read to keep the book shelf warm. Happy to lend.

A random act of kindness. A colleague knew i had all of Bryce Courtney in hardback except for 2 books. When she was exchanging books she fluked tge two and got them for me. Nice indeed. Now i have every book he wrote and in hardback!!

three best books you have ever read

Hi all

Like you fellow book lovers i limited the number to three as i could have gone on with a list of pure delights between pages.

Authors i have enjoyed over the decades to name a few: wilbur smith, bryce courtney, john sternbeck,
Bronte sisters, shakespeare, colleen mccough (sp) first book of hers was the Thorn Birds.

Books with historical threads i love. So tranter for instance with scottish history. Clan of the cave bear series.

Love to escape with simple story telling of maeve binchey. Oh the tears and joy of watership down and the lovely little moles and co in the dunction series of books by horwood.

How about playrights and poets!!!!
