Tofu is made from soybeans, water and a coagulant which turns it into a solid.
Its high protein and calcium content is excellent and ideal for vegetarians, I use it a lot as it absorbs flavors through spices and is a great addition to any Asian style meal

Well you make it sound good anyway.
I had pizza and chicken wings for supper. There were olives on the pizza though. I think they' re a vegetable.
Track16: I watched a documentary earlier tonight about the pig industry in Canada that makes me want to become a vegetarian
Hmm yeah they say that if abattoirs had glass walls ... yanno
I'm not trying to influence anyone Track, however if the word gets out that there's delicious, healthy, smack-you-in-the-face fabulous vegetarian food to be had and more people get on board well ...
psygnar: look yummy but is tofu and panneer the same???
No, paneer is traditionally made with cow's milk as opposed to soybeans for tofu
It's simple to make apparently, and although I haven't done it as yet, I'm planning to do that as well as make my own tofu .. the price is going up and up, just like everything else
