I'll have to be nosey, and take a look at that. Thanks. On Friday, i spent the evening making a best practice doument, whichnran to nearly 10 pages of scientific data tonhand to my dodtor, and a gastroenterologist. That with my diet, which is restricted, similarbto that of the GAPS Diet, which can turn around Autism, by first healing the GI.

Yesterday i stumbled on someone who had success with mixing baking soda with maple syrup. Andvtoday, on top of what i normally do i've had 2 teaspoons. The pharmasist i was talking to about my plan is very curious of the results, as she knows how effective Bicarbobate Soda is on killing bugs. Anyway, we shall see! Any more ideas, tips that you found effective, please post them, as anyone really suffering with a Candida overgrowth will appreciate effective treatment that works.

Most traditional medicine docs don't have a clue.. wave

Candida feeds on simple carbs and with systemic candida, stress and exposure to petrochemicals change gut ecology that allows overgrowth... Food additives and Rx drugs are made with petrochemicals and I think why so many GI side effects.. roll eyes

Calliopesgirl: You should not drink distilled water for a long time-it will give you kidney stones......

If this is an issue for you, i'd suggest you have some apple cider vinegar with the mother inside. The chemicals in this will ensure kidney stones are eliminated.

Braggs should be the easiest brand for you to find in North America. Any brand will do, as long as it's unpasturised.

You should make your own! All it takes is a juicer, a pile of granny smith apples, and a empty wine bottle!

Simply pour some of the Braggs (with the mother) into the apple juice and put a date on the bottle. The apple juice will turn from apple juice, to cider, and then to vinegar within 2 months.

No pesticides, no presevatives, no artificial flavourings or colours. And better than anything you'll buy in a shop.

RobbieM: Since being unlucky enough to be put on piles of anti-biotics years ago, i didn't get the advice that i should have taken probiotics to help populate my GI. Unfortunately if you don't Candida Albicans my overgrow and make you feel quite sick.

You have a lovely choice to get rid of this yeast, use medication or diet to starve it to death. Now mine was untreated for some time, doctors didn't have a clue and i eventually went toxic and became allergic one by one to all the food groups!

There's a brutal diet to clear it. No carbohydrate, no sugar, no starch. Nothing. I browsed Youtube, and because i had this quiety brewing away making me feel like death warmed up fora few years mine is well and truely hard to shift!

No fruit, sugar, bread, wheat or anything tasty for months, and by that i do mean nearly six months now. I've been on anti-fungal medication to try to kill it as well and i still have a white furry tongue.

When i go shopping i see others trolleys full of processed food, but being free of fruit, and everything tasty is really tough. On the plus side i've got a nice flat stomache and appear to be in much better shape than most men my age, but that is no consolation when you cannot have an orange, banana or potatoes in a meal.

If anyone has beat this gem that is haunting me, or food ideas i'm all open to ideas! I cannot wait to use my juicer again......

Get yourself some "Ceylon cinnamon", the real stuff. Not the fake stuff not the stuff at your local store. Use it as a mouthwash or in cooking.
Also a suggest your youtube colloidal silver, educate yourself on it and use it. Those two things should cure what ails yah.
