Project Cars should be coming next month:

I'll get the steamos version. I already have shift2 on obsolete Windows, which is huge fun. I love the AC Cobra...but need a steering wheel compatible with X-Plane etc. flightsims.

That looks like a pretty cool game. Backed it when it was first announced, and really looking forwards to playing it.

Don't forget The Crew the following month. Ninety minutes to drive from one side of the map to the other.

Fanatec do good wheels, not too sure they'll work with a flight sim. You'd be best getting a joystick for them.

I've seen these cars race a number of times years ago. One day at a track in Connecticut Hal Keck brought the Archway Ford Cobra to race and I was standing next to the trailer as they were unloading the car and when they started it up the blast from the exhaust pipe was making my pants flap like a flag in stiff breeze. The 427 Cobra wasn't known to be a great handling car but with so much power it could make up any shortcoming in cornering on the straightaways.

One day during open practice where any class car could use the track there were 2 Bugeye sprites going down the straightaway when a Cobra came upon them and the sprite guys saw him coming so they spread apart giving the Cobra room to pass between them. The Cobra created so much suction when it passed that the two sprites smacked into each other.

Austin Healey Sprites are soapboxes. To small that US cars were to big. But fun to drive, I once had a MG B. Probably that's why I love the AC Cobra. I wouldn't want the Shelby GT500 though.
