felixis99: pop around and say hello. The coffee is on me
I have some nice mix of soap and water to get that coffee stain off.
Can you make a chai tea latte for me? I'll tell you Felix, this cold front that the weather peeps were saying was here - threatening temperatures in the 50s did not materialize. It is still cool but not cold. Can never trust those TV weather folk.

I hope the tea includes the requisite finger sandwiches with smoked salmon, roast ham et al, alongside fresh raisin and apple scones and sliced cakes on a tiered cake stand which are selectable whilst your clientèle mingle.
I hope the service is assured and seamless, and the company polite and that it is required that one dresses for tea (so can you put on something less skimpy please ), with (gentle)men in jacket and tie and jeans, sportwear and trainers forbidden.

ummmm...we're standing the hallway of an apt building....I think it's going to be a bit less formal
Whats the going rate for two dough-nuts (with extra sprinkled sugar) enough to make my tongue to hang out to lick my lips once they are devoured. I promise not to leave no trace of me being there

well...go find your own doughnuts
I'm busy
no worries..I am not sure why any trace of you being here matters ... lol
rohaan: How 'bout some pasties, too? (I mean those Shepherds' Pies!!) by the way, do we have stores and restaurants in the U.S. that sell pasties? Just wondering...
I honestly don;t know. I have seen Shepherd's Pie in a Scottish Pub here but it didn;t look like a pastry....
harryonline that naughty man. he got you all started on food. bring your own I say!
secretagent09: There is a lady on CS named Sassy49Senior. She's been here a long time. Back in the day she used to have a Coffee Klatch for other members to have coffee with her. She is well liked and a sweet lady. I doubt that her coffee corner was meant for gossip.
You might remember her Jac. Her profile is still active.
My post wasn't meant to stir trouble but instead to show that the word "klatch" doesn't always mean gossip as Sassy wasn't a lady for gossip.
All this talk about coffee has aroused my need for caffeine and torte
thanks, yes I remember her, but she has not been here in quite a long time. I believe Jac was referring to the actual German translation of klatsch, but you are also right. Here in the states a coffee klatch is often referred to as friendly chit chat over a "cupper" or two
People specifically bring their own snacks
(I made that part up)
and you are not causing any trouble at all - glad to see u here
