Ccincy: My mind was open cause through the many years I've sure learned a lot.Somethings I wished I hadn't learned.
I know just what you mean. (I've always said, "Gee, I know way more than I want to OR set out to...") "Sometimes getting more than you bargained for is just as bad as not getting enough"--(Franklin)

Ccincy: Hi ro does visions as the Native Americans have had count?

My son and I both had one of the same exact thing and people told me that I was nuts.

hiya Ccincy wave

a few years ago, while visiting a friend in virginia, he told me of an experience he and his wife shared while their house was under construction. once the floors and framing of the new house were in place, he was standing on the deck area, looking out over the view and clearly saw a couple first nations people on horseback, dressed re the 1800's. and they stopped their horses and stared back at him. he was silent, then turned to his wife at his side...and she said...can you see what i see? to which he replied yes. they were both seeing exactly the same thing.
it lasted for a few minutes, then disappeared.

neither of them are crazy.... laugh

One night a visitor paid a visit to a fine house on a huge estate that stood on a hill overlooking barren land and rough sea to which pirates used to jump ashore on to the hook peninysala in feathered on sea co Wexford which is home to one of the oldest lighthouses in the world,

This stranger knocked upon the door one stormy night to seek refuge and the master of the house mr loftus welcomed the dark handsume stranger and offered him shelter for the few nights ,the stranger was a handsume well to do type and met the daughter of the house Anne loftus to which they had a short liason,.

One night. As her father and two other gentlemen played cards with the stranger Anna stepped into the parlour to bid them goodnight as she approached the stranger she looked down at his feet and saw he had two hooves, when Anne screamed the gentleman shot through the roof in a ball dope fire,

Anne loftus spent her days up in her room,

The hole in the roof could never be fixed and the house had to be rebuilt to which only a very old beautiful staircase that was built by an Italian craftsman stays untouched,

Thete was only one other like it and that was the one on the titanic,

Rumour has it the family made the story up about the stranger being the devel and the hole in roof going on fire was struck by lightning which is not unusual as it is very wild down those parts in the winter,

The legend goes it was the devel but the family possibly made this story up as Anne was found to be pregnant by the stranger who left few days later,as in those days it would have been shameful for a girl from upper class to become pregnant out of wedlock and Anne was thought to have been made live in her room upstairs to which she slowly went mad,

Rumour has it a scelton was found in the walls of a tiny baby infant,

Possibly Anne's child,

The lady of the house was Anne's stepmother they did not get on,

Whatever the truth is it is a tragic tale of poor Anne,

The house has been restored and is open to the public ,look up about loftus hall feathered on sea Wexford,

It is full of mystery and history,

A relation of mine that visited said Anne's room is opened for visitors to see but thete is a very cold chill practically in that part of the house ,

The security man told my cousin that his guard dog won't enter that room,

Bono of U2 wanted to buy the house and turn the land into a golf course but it too flat,

It is only right and fitting that this fine building that Cromwell once invaded should be an Irish national treasure,

I think now Anne's soul rests in peace and no none knows who the stranger was that called that night ,no record was found on him when they checked the ship he is to have said he travelled on,

wink
