Totally agree with you on this. 
It's a feature that can and does get abused and tends to upset folks. Like you, I'm "intrigued" with the stuff that's hidden but then again, I really do enjoy those Where's Waldo books.

We should request (politely) to the Mods to place a tag to the threads that have hidden posts.

Well Diary, it gets worse.
I am yet again banned by this same Tin Pot dictator "women"...and before doing so makes up a lie that I am a "Mohammed" that will not leave her alone.
This is how low she will go and the typical mis information by this "sweet of Milk" who is really the holder of the Devils eggs.
I will report back any more suspicious behavior by "Sour Milk" AKA Sweet of Milk

about people who hide posts,
its my right as an OP to hide a post
if I think the poster
is trying to cause a fight
or is not contributing in any way
to the subject.
The site GIVES ME that tool
and I will use it
if I deem it necessary.
Whoever doens't agree
is more than welcome to
post elsewhere.
Some people are just like children
and as such they should
be punished.
Leave the tantrums to toddlers,
be a MAN, be a WOMAN!
I already did my share of changing diapers
when I was taking care of my now late grandma.
Not interested in doing that here.
Not pacifiers either for the

Hiding post just simply reflects the OP's reaction to how people may respond to the thread.It may be for any number of reasons. They may not like the way that particular post is going to generate the thread into a direction that they did not intend it to or perhaps they just simply do not like the poster,etc. Not a big deal really and yes we all open them. It is all part of participating in the forums, it is what it is. JMO

All I asked her was if she has done a survey and then my posts was hidden and then I was banned !
