SandraYelitzza2: I don't know if u ladies have experienced this. But I am certainly getting tired of guys in this website assuming that u r rejecting a guy because u r a gold digger. Sometimes, some men wont take rejection so easy and they would call u a gold digger without a given reason.

For example: This one time, a random guy emailed me, I simply told him I wasn't interested... then he said "Oh, I know why u aren't interested, it is because u think people from my country are poor, so u think I'm poor, but don't worry, that's not true... I got money" then I was like "Are u stupid or a u just plain dumb?? U don't even know me, so don't call me a gold digger (which I'm not) and I simply don't like u cuz u ugly as hell!! (In that case, I told him the truth because he called me a gold digger without a given reason, he didn't answer after that)

I usually get these types of messages from middle eastern guys... are middle eastern women gold diggers or what?? Why do they assume every woman is a gold digger??

I don't know how many of u women experienced this, but I'm getting tired of these men slandering arses....

Wallet on legs is the default in a man with nothing else to offer.

Middle eastern women don't have the luxury of choice that you do, they often have to choose a man for his money and security. Usually middle eastern women need to live off a provider-male(of some sort)whereas our women mostly live off the government(in some way)which is paid for mostly by men anyway.

mnowsa: Not sure why still we are using the terms like "gold diggers". I mean, i know that gold is expensive, but diamond is even more expensive. So, ladies, if you are going to be accused anyway, why don't you tell the guys to accuse you as some "diamond diggers"?

Because we're not going to do the back-breaking, dirty digging.

You are.

You can put filters into your mailbox so not everyone can contact you.

It works a treat. grin I stopped replying to a lot of mail because a friendly, thanks but no thanks and good luck, led to hassle, discussion etc. I don't do discussions about something like that anymore.

There are ways of cutting down on this crap if you want to.

This is why we get "Women are rude they ignore emails!" threads every couple weeks.

A lot of women have worked out that the best way to avoid this garbage

is to just not reply if they're not interested.

True, I can block messages from certain areas, but what I don't want is friends from forums not being able to contact me because they are from certain areas... I think they can still contact me if they are in my friends list but I'm not sure of that confused

I think it works most times with the friends list. I also have found that if posters want to contact you, they tell you about it - something like "tried to send you mail but I'm blocked". Then you can send them a mail and conversation is open.

I'm sick of the local ride requests and have peace and quiet since I put filters in.

Heck, I get requests from everywhere... I also get tired of the random friend requests... I only have 8 friends here, and they been in my threads... and vice versa cheering
