SandraYelitzza2: I don't know if u ladies have experienced this. But I am certainly getting tired of guys in this website assuming that u r rejecting a guy because u r a gold digger. Sometimes, some men wont take rejection so easy and they would call u a gold digger without a given reason.
For example: This one time, a random guy emailed me, I simply told him I wasn't interested... then he said "Oh, I know why u aren't interested, it is because u think people from my country are poor, so u think I'm poor, but don't worry, that's not true... I got money" then I was like "Are u stupid or a u just plain dumb?? U don't even know me, so don't call me a gold digger (which I'm not) and I simply don't like u cuz u ugly as hell!! (In that case, I told him the truth because he called me a gold digger without a given reason, he didn't answer after that)
I usually get these types of messages from middle eastern guys... are middle eastern women gold diggers or what?? Why do they assume every woman is a gold digger??

I have to tell you that your posts make me laugh, honestly (in a good way) Guys will say anything to try to hit you below the belt if they're rejected. Might as well get used it.
Some will use the "you're a gold digger" line to the reverse psychology number where they expect you then to go on the defensive and deny it and submit to your own insecurity or to overreact. That's another low-brow strategy to either hurt or get a foot in the door.
Some will use the line to try to cover their own shortcomings professionally. i.e. If you don't date a loser, then you must be a gold digger.
The middle eastern women that I know won't date some guy who doesn't have a penny to his name. They are a lot more down to business when it comes to money than the westerners are, in my experience. They don't say that, but it's true nonetheless. Traditionally, there's a whole family looking out for the woman who wants to marry and they'll have their say about the prospective husband.

Not sure why still we are using the terms like "gold diggers". I mean, i know that gold is expensive, but diamond is even more expensive. So, ladies, if you are going to be accused anyway, why don't you tell the guys to accuse you as some "diamond diggers"?

It's quite a pity and funny at times how people are tagged in dating sites, men and women alike, it's somewhat a kind of revealation if we really analize it further, or to be pricise, phsycologically!
For the sake of sharing, i'll say, mine is the other way, the fact that i am at an advance age and a widower,, it's me who encounter those what are branded as gold diggers, the short time that i was in a dating site, i feel everyday you can have them depends on how often you're on line, but since i don't have golds, it would end up in deception,, not for me of course, because i'm aware those risks.
Just don't be affected by them, you know your person ,, just take it cooly and let them know you have your own gold ,, why not ? power to you ,,

And I can assure that... I am very independent, I certainly don't need men to take care of me (if a guy wants to take care of me, then I gladly appreciate it, and the feeling should be mutual of course... I take care of him, and he takes care of me)
