Nobody (men, or women) can make us feel anything, or have power over us (unless perhaps they have a gun to our heads).
Our feelings are our choice and our power is our own.
Whilst I get that we may need to process stuff to create change in ourselves, if we get to the point where we're thinking about having a gun to someone else's head perhaps we need to very carefully frame that as philosophical, or fantastical...and look at why we choose to use that approach.
