I remember every one of mine, in perfect detail whether I want to or not.

Not always.....but I remember last nights
weird!!!I was watching my ex-husband flying a small aircraft (somehow I was above him) and he was showing off. Everything was in orange......he jumped out of the plane with his parachute and...the parachute got caught up in the plane and he landed on the ground still attached to the plane. He tried to free himself but it landed on top of him and went on fire. I went down to help him and the flesh on his leg was melting. I was looking for water and asking someone to get an ambulance. That was it!!!!!

So you don't have a problem with sleeping.
I've heard that a dream is a result of a deep slumber.
For me, i seldom dream, and i forget them easily, if i have one i'll wake exhausted because it's always about a struggle, so i sometimes prefer not to dream.

Dreams can be dark sometimes, I have them at times. There are nights I dread going to sleep because I have no idea what I'm going to be in for with the dream I know I'm going to remember.

You dream when you reach rem sleep, everyone dreams, just most people rarely remember them. Unfortunately, I am different in that way.

Willow3939: Me too! Some are hard to shake.
My medications have a effect on my dreams, usually not good. Since the med change a few weeks ago, the flavor of my dreams has changed. Still dark and disturbing but different from as it was.

I'm not sure how much my meds play a part in my dreams. I have had vivid dreams since I was little. Most of them have been nightmares. I especially hate when I die in my dreams. It is really creepy.

I have supposed to die many times but nothing seems to kill me. I just keep going on. Its still a creepy feeling though when you are watching the bullets rip out through your stomach

Yes. I have been shot, stabbed, drowned, beheaded, burned at the stake, hung, strangled and jumped off a cliff. The drowning was the scariest.

I bet we could write the ultimate horror movie with our dreams
I haven't been burned at a stake but everything else plus being in a explosion, ran over, flesh rotted off, nuclear radiation. The strangest was the flesh being rotted off.

I'm sure we could. Yes, flesh rotting off would be the worst.
One of my favorite shows is The Walking Dead. I have tons of nightmares of being chased by zombies! I hate when they catch me and bite chunks of flesh out of me. That hurts!

That can't be pleasant. The worst I hurt was being burned. Had gas wasted all over me and I was having a smoke, then was just a wall of flame and it was torture.

I find dreams fascinating,and think the subconscious mind is extremely powerful.
I believe our dreams have significance in some way too.
Most nights i dream and can generally remember the dreams for much of the day.
On occasion i will have a random flashback of a dream i have had many years prior,and can pinpoint almost the exact time in my life said dream occured,,be it 10,20 years or more earlier.
Amazing how the brain processes and stores the info....I think.
