1. Irish Canadians were granted the right to vote in Canada in 1974...except in Quebec...unless its St Patrick's Day...

2. In 1983, despite world protest, the Saskatchewan seal hunt was re-allowed. However, do to protesters showing up on the ice flows near Regina, a moratorium was established....

3. Santa Claus defected to Greenland in 1997 after being busted for a massive grow-op at the north pole....Justin Trudeau is considering a pardon upon the legalization of marijuana in Canada

4. Canada is actually considering switching from prop-planes to jets! A national vote will be undertaken in 2017!

5. 2014 - Canada FINALLY had enough phones to justify a second area code!

6. Canada still debates whether we should drop the twenty-hour metric time system and align with the USA and the 24 hour clock system! (Too much confusion with American tourists missing their tour bus departures...)

7. Toronto NO LONGER slaughters polar bears as part of an ancient pagan tradition!

8. Although heavily debated...there will be NO stat holiday in regards to Prime Minister Tim Horton!

9. Chief Electorate Gordon Lightfoot has decreed the Black Rhinoceros a protected species in Manitoba and Saskatchewan....the sanctified hunt continues in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia.

10. The Canadian one dollar coin has a picture of a loon...thus the name "loonie". The two-dollar coin is a twonie. The soon the be introduced five dollar coin has a pine tree....will Canada finally get a "woodie?"

11. Canada, since declared a "country" has invaded....no one,...nor have we been invaded.

Canada is the third leading cause of tooth decay next to smoking and improper flossing.Canada has the largest per capita sock collection at 107 socks per capita and even has a support group. There is an association for it called the (Sock Per Capita Association)and they meet almost every 3rd Wednesday unless there is a need for an executive meeting which is confidential for obvious reasons.
Canada has free healthcare but free beer would be much more cost effective IMO.

Excellent question. Thank you and unfortunately I am not in the executive so I have no clue.handshake My personal tip is to buy only white socks and just color coordinate them. cheers

One or 2 million from what I remember.I will look that up.
I heard early explored/traders exchanged guns for beaver pelts and used the length of the barrel to equal the height of the pelts.
Then the European made The Long Guns which were overly long barreled/inaccurate and deceiving.I heard the North original people got some revenge. Hudson Bay area around 1700?

Track16: The Newfoundland Kangaroo has been clocked at up to 40 mph.

Unfortunately clocked by Newfoundland pickups doing 50 mph....

Newfoundland Kangaroo declared possibly extinct 2004... (although a few may exist in PEI near the Green Gables House....last sighting of one on the Confederation Bridge was 2008)
