It is not something I have really discussed with anyone or considered that much myself.

Religion is nothing if it does not make us better humans, so Christianity, Islam, Buddhism if it does not school the mind to becoming a better person devoid of fanaticism is rubbish. True religion is acknowledging that we are all humans irrespective of pigmentation and treat each other alike .

I never thought about it either until about 7 years ago when it came up in conversation and the other person told me "you may not be religious but l know you to be very spiritual", explaining what she meant l then understood about the way l lead my life.

Would you consider that Buddhism is a 'religion' or more 'a way of life'?.

jt972: And what about narrow minded filth? Did every
Vicar or priest molest? The majority didn't and
I experienced the vast amount of good the church
Contributed growing up and how dare you paint
Everyone with the same brush

Is child molestation solely confined to the church?
It certainly is not...

As for nice, it's Muslims that are wreaking havoc
Not Christians, any country where Muslims are in
A majority Christians are being violently persecuted

Any country where Christians are a majority
Muslims are tip toed around not butchered and
That's the Christian way to our own detriment
But that's you painting everyone with the same
Brush, Christian societies have been more than
Patient in the face of these disgraceful acts.
Indeed,Christian society is constantly hit by offensive insults to be painted with the same brush, but as soon someone says anything about Islam radicalism...here comes brigade to scream about Islamophobic speech. doh

I can only answer your ignorant question with this:

"Being a spiritual person is synonymous with being a person whose highest priority is to be loving to yourself and others. A spiritual person cares about people, animals and the planet. A spiritual person knows that we are all One, and consciously attempts to honor this Oneness. A spiritual person is a kind person."

You should take some time to look on the internet and you will be more knowledgable.

I'd call that charitable not spiritual, the words
Spiritual or spirit are synonymous with a higher
Force

You may be charitable at best and that's debatable
When taking your narrow mind into account

I am a Christian orthodox...
I rarely go to church and usually choose a small one somewhere quiet and far from crowds.
I can argue the story about our creation, but I am absolutely sure there is a source of enormous power, a spirit that many times have gently pushed me to the right direction.
It is important to listen, very carefully to your inner voice...or to what others say, they might have the right message for you, without even realising it... wine

He was only asking u a question. If u really believe he is ingnorant,u don't need to write that ,u just answer his question. Now am asking u the same question,or similar question 'Do u believe in the Holy Spirit?'World knowledge is satan's delusions. Without the Holy Spirit no knowledge is sound. Please meditate on the Holy Spirit when next u r meditating and always when u meditate and true enlightenment will come to u.
