123whisper: “The more I study science, the more I believe in God.” –Albert Einstein (The Wall Street Journal, Dec 24, 1997, article by Jim Holt, “Science Resurrects God.”)
"God is a mathematician of a very high order and He used advanced mathematics in constructing the universe.” -quote of a Nobel Prize winning physicist Paul A. M. Dirac, who made crucial early contributions to both quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics. “The best data we have (concerning the Big Bang) are exactly what I would have predicted, had I nothing to go on but the five books of Moses, the Psalms, the Bible as a whole.”
“If there are a bunch of fruit trees, one can say that whoever created these fruit trees wanted some apples. In other words, by looking at the order in the world, we can infer purpose and from purpose we begin to get some knowledge of the Creator, the Planner of all this. This is, then, how I look at God. I look at God through the works of God’s hands and from those works imply intentions. From these intentions, I receive an impression of the Almighty.”—Arno Penzias, the 1978 Nobel Prize recipient in physics as cited in New York Times on March 12, 1978 (first quote) and ‘The God I Believe in’, Joshua O. Haberman – editor, New York, Maxwell Macmillan International, 1994, 184. (second quote)
P.S.And who are you to say that Albert Einstein and all other Nobel Prize Prize recipients are stupid people who believed in fairy tales, for giving the benefits of the doubts to God !?

We can all share opinion but it's also nice to back up such opinion...without ridiculing people beliefs of ferry tiles I am not in to religion myself but I am not disbeliever either.
100% of today's Christians are fake. The movement was infiltrated shortly after the empire established it as their official religion. Jehovah/Yahweh(the "god of the old testament"...Satan himself) sent his followers to corrupt the real Christian teachings and it culminated in the Catholic Church we know today ( and the splinter groups that were eventually created). All religions, all of them, are satanic and a manipulation of Jehovah. Luckily some heroes rescued what they could and escaped Rome and hide the texts and artefacts on remote locations away from the Church. Many of these heroes died at the hands of Vatican assassins but their sacrifice was worth it as the truth has finally come to light!. The real Christianity is a way of life dedicated to the recovery of our godhood and the ascension to the realm beyond. Only then, our endless cycle of death and reincarnation will stop and we will be like the gods from beyond the poles!(our brothers and sisters).

abcWOMAN: Arent Catholics Christian too?
123whisper: Yes, Catholics are Christian .
"All Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics.
A Christian refers to a follower of Jesus Christ who may be a Catholic, Protestant, Gnostic, Mormon, Evangelical, Anglican or Orthodox, or follower of another branch of the religion.
A Catholic refers to a Christian who follows the Catholic religion as transmitted through the succession of Popes of Rome and the Vatican Empire across history. The Pope is the leader of the Catholic church.
The Catholic Church is the largest of the Christian Churches - about 60% of Christians are Catholic."

abcWOMAN: The main religion in the Nordic countries has been Protestant and Lutheran since 1500. The church in Sweden separated from the state in 2000. Sweden is the only Nordic country without a state church. We have paid taxes to the church since1527. I pay 1% not 0,1% to the church! How much you pay depends on where you live in the country. Even if you exit as a member in the church, you’ll still have to pay around 0,25%. The % is set up by the state!!
Thank you for your reply.
Paying "taxes" to the church that is separated from the state and the state sets the "tax"?

Bee2K: Sophie apology accepted. 123 whispers, i did not mention any of the people you wrote of - you did.
Your nick name reminds me of Aussie ''Wiggles'' and children play B1 and B2 Sorry for using Einstein for example as I don't think he was really deeply religious man but he did distanced himself from strict atheist....and his thoughts of God is still in studying process...

One of my heroes the famous scientist Richard Fineman says
If they are consistent with their science, I think that they say something like this to themselves: "I am almost certain there is a God. The doubt is very small." That is quite different from saying, "I know that there is a God." I do not believe that a scientist can ever obtain that view - that really religious understanding, that real knowledge that there is a God - that absolute certainty which religious people have.

stringman: The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.
Our society, it seems, has become so confused about religion that we don't really seem to understand what a religion is. Because of that, we don't really seem to understand what it means to experience God, either.
Seeking God and identifying with a religion are different experiences. Yet, many people seem to think that a person who does not identify with any particular religion must, therefore, be an atheist. That is an insult both to God and, I suppose, to true atheism. Religions are human institutions that, at their best, help people to experience and be close to God. However, the relationship between a religion and God is like the relationship between a radio and music. Just because you don't have one does not mean that you can't experience the other.
I am thinking about this because a reader of this blog recently sent me a message (you can, too, by going here), wondering what I thought about the growing number of atheists in our society. The reader identified himself as an atheist and wondered how I "remain true to faith."
You don't need to be a mind reader to realize that a true atheist would not be concerned with the struggle to maintain faith. Atheism is the conviction that there is no God or gods; no ultimate source of meaning, truth or morality in the universe. How could a true atheist struggle with faith when atheism denies the very basis of faith? I had to assume that the message I got was from a person who wanted to experience faith but was frustrated by an inability to find a meaningful experience of God in any religion. Here's part of what I wrote back:
It is my belief that many people who call themselves atheists are really just anti-religion. Maybe that's true for you, too. I think there is a difference between faith and religion.
