I agree that what you say will make your life less stressful.
People will interpret you as a kind person who doesn't look for situations that cause arguments.
It could also mean you let people walk all over you if you answer "yes" all the time
Kindness and compassion is a way to talk from your heart. However, somewhere in a person's life they need to make decisions that might not be talking from their heart.
