For the pronunciation, I have to go with the American one because it is the one we learn here and later I went to USA too to learn it yet I will always keep my Mexican Accent so when anyone listen to me talking I want them to know English is not my first language.
I'm also just playing.
In truth, there is evidence to show that Olde English is closer to American spelling (apart from those crazy words mentioned on another thread). It is British English that has evolved away from it's historical roots....
