My late ancestry on my late mother's side are French speakers from Canada as I learned from my late mother.She only spoke a few words in French when she became upset with my late father who spoke Ojibwe. I can only imagine them both speaking separate languages. Must've been pretty interesting at the dinner/breakfast table.
