Mayako: This is my experience from other dating sites as well. I think it's just that there are not many men in age range from your area (or men of some other criteria) and most of them contact you as soon as you join anyway. So, it's good to make pauses. For example, I used to be on Badoo for a while, then deleted my profile and came back several months later and - there were new people there to meet and chat with.
