Hate is another big word. I can't really hate someone it's not me. Yes i get angry 
but after some time i forget everything what happend. We all make mistakes so we all have to be ready to forgive & forget.

If there were no hate in this world we would be living in utopia. But as many things are it is not possible. Reality is haste exists and will probably always exist. But just maybe if we decide never to hate again and we give this message to our children maybe someday.....

Im afraid I cant answer this one....its something I never felt, not even towards the people that hurt me the most...Can't be a good feeling, I consider myself lucky 
me neither dont do the hate thing stand up for me and mine but hate never it warps ones soul
You have to really really LOVE some(one)(thing) to be able to HATE the opposite thing/one ... for my opinion Hate is the 'revenge/protection' of deeply hurt feelings ... so no Hate without emotional involvement ... I guess

Strange emotion hey? Once upon a time, for a good reason, I felt hate, but tried to deny it. Then one day it boiled out, and I admitted it to myself.... and then the hate went away. So maybe the cure for that feeling Spidermoose mentioned is to not try and act like its not there... admit, face it, and its cured? I realy felt better after admitting it to myself.

Hate is being stuck in anger, i.e. refusing to let go of being hurt. When stuck, the person is not properly active. And one allows himself/herself improper response to the frustration. Therefore, hate is a sign of absence of maturity.
Before anyone jumps to argue on this one, I assure you, we all have moments of immaturity. It's just that some people allow those moments to last for eons - now, that's sad.
