Severe thunderstorms, tornadoes may erupt on southern edge of snowstorm
The same storm poised to unload up to 2-4 feet of snow and create blizzard conditions over the north-central United States also has the potential to bring severe weather, including tornadoes, farther south.

The area at greatest risk will extend from north-central Texas to southwestern Iowa and include central and eastern Oklahoma, northwestern Arkansas, eastern Kansas and western Missouri. However, locally severe storms may erupt over areas to the north and south of this zone due to the presence of plenty of warm and humid air.
Cities at risk for severe storms include Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri; Fayetteville and Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Wind gusts of 70 mph are predicted with this event. Gusts of this strength can break large tree limbs, knock over poorly-rooted trees, trigger power outages and cause minor property damage.
"There may be a few-hour-window during Thursday afternoon and early evening where the setup is conducive for supercell thunderstorm formation and hence a risk of tornadoes,".
As the event unfolds into Thursday night, thunderstorms are likely to organize into a solid line, of which the greatest threat will be from strong wind gusts. If this line of thunderstorms remains intense through the night, the severe weather risk may extend farther to the south and east on Friday.

No other severe warnings for any state. At the moment. Other than Winter Storm warning for North Dakota of 2-4 ft of snow, burying crops! #FoodShortage

TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA BUST ALL-TIME COLD RECORDS

OCTOBER 13, 2019

All-time low temperature records continue to fall across North America, all-time low temperature records continue NOT to be logged by NOAA.

Wichita Falls, Texas set a new record low on Saturday, Oct 12 when the mercury dipped to -1.1C (30F); cold enough to smash the previous record low of 1.7C (35F) set back in 1977 (solar minimum of cycle 20).

It was also the second earliest freeze the northern Texas city has ever seen.

What`s it going to take to see that out current President does not equate The GLOBAL WARMING....Saying it has nothing to do with the weather. (???)
He is so far out of knowledge of anything that is so important -that it will require actual devastation closer to him to have any affect on him personally. He is just out of gear, in his brain.
This will take expensive things & & people with high skills to detect what we have to do to prevent any more damage to our earth...so our future children won`t have water & clean air to breathe. One is stop making things out of plastic ...there are other alternatives. Later, have pay fines who throw away plastic bottles & other things, instead we have to resycle.
THIS IS CLEAR. We have to spread the word to have all of us to take this seriously. We have only just touched on importance & knowledge, & who will do what we have to. We can`t sit & talk about it. It will take supreme action. NOW!!! moonlow33
