Butcher559: China has 90% of the rare earth mineral market on their side, they have the first thorium uranium reactor in the world and sounds a lot safer than normal uranium reactors.
Venezuela has (blue gold) or Coltan, they also have Thorium in their soil... Thorium Uranium comes from you guessed it Thorium.
Rare earth minerals and refined Coltan go into many electronic devices, but most important of all it is used in alot of bombs, missiles, rockets and war planes. The US doesn't have any rare earth minerals or coltan, they buy from China.. if China closes that market off to the US, the US military industrial complex won't be happy at all. Makes sense why the US wants into Venezuela so bad.
As for Thorium and Thorium Uranium it sounds alot safer than standard Uranium, they say it doesn't deplete down and can't be used for weapons. The US knew about thorium uranium back in the 70s and closed it down back then to, they went after the standard uranium because it depletes when used in reactors.. then once depleted can be used in weapons.
Sorry i've got links to info, but i found that on The last american vagabond youtube show.
’t thorium a daughter of uranium and eventually ends up as stable Thorium X, jest like Radon is a daughter of uranium and eventually becomes non reactive Lead.
Butcher559: Yeah i heard that on the news this morning Rob, but they didn't details about it just the guy went on a shooting ramage in 5 different locations.
