It appeared to be peer reviewed research, one learns about that first year, along with referencing, so two ticks there...

A lead compound? OK now I'd really have to think... Elemental lead is not as harmfull as lead phosphate, I think it was at Esperance port birds were dropping out of the sky from exposure, I personally know people with lead bullets in them from many years ago... Its very harmful for children, affects their learning, not so bad for adults.

Look at the chemical formula for a medication, often they're very complicated. they have a magnesium here or a whatever else there. Sometimes, like with lithium we dont actually know why it works at all, but we know it works.

Well... You havent got me on chemistry yet. Just tried to twist things up, admittedly in a very determined manner, and points for that.

And steering it away from the original topic, I always find that a bland excuse for not having a genuine reasoning. Like spelling mistakes or typos, when there's nothing else to nitpick.

But yeah, you like conspiracy theories I thnk they're usually pretty stupid. At this point maybe we agree to disagree. Fortunately out borders are closed, long may it continue.

I wonder how much of this chimes with that view of yourself as a temporarily impoverished millionaire. I don't think a scientist should feel lucky I would expect him to have been his own harshest critic finding out every reason why his own conclusions are almost bound to be wrong.

Good point Ches, if its knowledge not a viewpoint does it make things worse?
I think the scientist thhing is a bit of a double negative, like when did you stop lying about bashing yout wife? It has no answer really.

The last scientist that I can recall being his own harshest critic was Charles Darwin ... and, though he did point out many shortcomings in his work on evolution, most who read it seemed oblivious to his own comments in that respect!
