depending on who's writing the history... the 'facts' seem to change.
i'm not saying this is the best example... just one i happen to know...
as a teacher in BC, i had read the english textbook 'history' of The Plains of Abraham in Canada. Many years later, i saw the french canadian textbook 'history' of the same event. It was like two different events.
same with the history of First Nations in BC, the english version is entirely different than the First Nations version...
so it's not about being 'politically correct'... i'm more interested in actually learning the facts.
