Moving estimate was $8,200. That's from my house into storage that's 15 miles away!! Then I have to pay more to move to Florida. I don't think so.

I used College Hunks Moving....here is the link in your area..It only cost me $700...to move my things to storage and to my apartment....
It cost the same when I moved the second time to my home when it was completed.
I did pack everything in boxes myself..

I've packed everything in boxes except for some pictures. Someone told me a TV box costs $200 each if a moving company packs it so I'm moving those in my car.It only cost me $700...to move my things to storage and to my apartment....

Jesus!! over $8k to move just 15 miles , a half an hours drive away???...Sounds like someone is trying to take you to the cleaners mbken..along with your belongings...Might be cheaper to just sell/give the stuff away and buy replacements at the new house...save your self the storage costs as well....and the hassle of it all...
P.S. Good luck with the move though..I did it not so long ago and dont' envy you..It's the hardest week of work you'll ever do and it'll take years off you..

I was confused about the word Service until earlier today.
With many years dealing with the Canada Revenue service the postal service the provincial and municipal service the telephone service,Civil service...ect, ect. I finally overheard the word service from 2 farmers talking.
The farmer said" I just hired a Bull to Service the cows".

I got the estimate wrong. It was $2,000 to move my stuff 15 miles away and put into storage until I'm ready to move and $6,000 to move from South Carolina to Florida. Sorry for the mix up. Been doing that a lot recently.
