well, what do you think? Travel is prohibited in so many regions, now. How about finding someone in your area...

Luckily flights are still going ahead in EU Countries (Including the Uk) but a few airlines have stopped flying again with all the "spikes" going on again, plus the 14 days quarantine. There are quite a lot of Brits and Irish people here were I live at the moment on holiday. The flights may stop again come the end of August. I love my time spent in America but there's no way that I would go there at this moment in time. I couldn't wear a mask on a plane for 8 hours, plus the 3 hours at the airport before flying.

My friends have just come over from the Uk (they have an apartment here) They had to wear a mask for nearly 9 hours. Two and a half hours on the train to the airport, then 2 more hours in the airport, 3 hours on the plane and then an hour off the plane to get their baggage and lastly, nearly an hour in their friends car, who was picking them up.

My friend took me shopping yesterday, pharmacy first, and I had to wear my mask for 2 hours as it's compulusory to wear a mask at all times unless on a beach, doing sports, at a restaurant/bar or at a swimming pool. I nearly fainted as it's well over 95 degrees here now and that's in the shade. Not good.............

Hi GS

Yes, I believe it's very hot over there at the moment too. I only go shopping once a fortnight for my prescription and food. I meet up with friends every afternoon as we can sit in the shade and we get the sea breeze, no mask needed as we're having a drink at our local. Much cooler there than in my apartment. I don't like A/C as it affects my eyes too much, so I make do with ceiling fans. they're remote control so it's easy with the timer grin
