Couple things.
Online bullies are just trolls. They could have the body of Stephen Hawking, but threatening online.
It doesn't make sense to allow them to trip your triggers. Block and delete and move on. Drives them crazy.
In the real world, if there are several of them or they are larger, that's a problem, because while Florida is a Stand Your Ground state, doing all the paperwork and dealing with prosecutors and surviving gang members is irritating.
That said, perhaps one of John Wayne's characters said it best:
“I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid-a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I require the same of them.”
Now there is another, but I cannot find attribution but it does sound like something John might have said.
Neighbor, I ain't looking for a fight, but if you insist, I'll oblige ya!
