As an American I guess you've read 'to kill a mockinbird' and maybe it's prequel?
Do you want to know the truth? “To Kill A Mockingbird” pre-dated me ( let’s say, ‘slightly’, shall we?) but I was academic enough to know that it was a good story, a GREAT American story….but I was told, and became savvy, as it were, to almost resign myself to a lesser way-of-thinking, and became abhorrent to the idea of reading the book OR watching the movie…it’s too freaking SAD! I want to hear about people who work hard and make it, and happy days are here……look, we’re going to be here awhile, make the best…the government is difficult..( duh), prices are too high ( duh) etc…….I want nice warm cheerful stories….jmoAs an American I guess you've read 'to kill a mockinbird' and maybe it's prequel?
