Putin is not driven by money. The usa should stay out of foreign affairs. We have outdated military technology and military leadership is more concerned about other things because our troops are weak and biden doesn't cate what they advise. And yes these are my opinions as well as reality.I guess the new GOP mantra is 'Build that Wall' Bring back the USSR! Let's see how that plays out in the coming election.

I have no idea where you get your information. The facts are clear. There is no military power close to the US armed forces.
As for 'the usa should stay out of foreign affairs" (your words). Have you never traveled outside the USA?
The vast majority of multi-national corporations (companies that operate in multiple countries worldwide) are housed in the United States; pay taxes in the United States; employ millions of Americans and foreign nationals in hundreds of countries worldwide. The US Government has a direct obligation to protect American citizens who reside in foreign countries.

Now that Biden has made the US dependent on arab oil again it would take time to ramp up US production , doubt Putin would wait while the US allies surrounding Russia become the buffer zone he's rebuilding . Staying out of world affairs is not away to maintain trading partners . Common cause against Russia and china is a good thing . Sometimes I wonder if it won't come down to russia having first nuclear strike wiping out the continental usa while china nukes nato countries and Australia. I would like to see a stop for putting any more young u.s. boots on the ground to protect nato countries and there interests.
