What does it mean to be man and woman? Well, nature has designed male and female by giving some qualities and responsibilities, But are we fulfilling our responsibilities properly? And using our qualities properly?
Selenite: For the rest, what is considered a 'quality' or a 'responsibility' within the couple/family/societal structure totally depends on where the people are born and cannot be generalised.
Your questions will have a different answer depending which part of the globe you go ask it.
I guess there are people from many places in the world in the forums but unless the answers come from sudies of their society, it'll be little more than a little glimpse into their personal life and perceptions.

Men won't mind this question, women will mind this question. Men explode in the heat of the moment, women mind about things more in a low miff that never quite goes away. Men are funny, women are always right. Men are challenged, women are agreed with the whole time. Men get paid, women get praised. Men are productive, woman seductive.
The differences are endless although much depends on cultural differences. Women are agreed with the whole time in the patriarchies as a type of joke - as long as you believe that dear that's all that matters. But in the west that joke isn't funny anymore, it's actually being serious; women's football in a cost of living crisis like a ridiculous Marie Antoinette figure who was also a woman. No expense spared for the woman's prerogative whilst the nation freezes and starved. They don't even like football, but still they know best.
The worst thing a man can be is a loser, the worst thing a woman can be is ugly. And it's because men are socially mobile and women are aristocratic. Men win or lose where women are guaranteed a certain rank which is at the same time limiting. A glass ceiling but also a much stronger social safety net. Whatever she says, whatever she has, whatever she thinks will be typical for the society she lives in.
All the danger of death gets condensed down into the act of child birth - which used to be a very dangerous thing - and it doesn't actually matter if they're pregnant the women are still women. The oldest get-out in the book, so if a madmen bursts in with a knife you have to confront him. That's the deep end of what a man should be, an unrequested fight to the death.
