d4nI314: Ok, fair enough. Then, maybe you should now write a thread for "men only", asking if they would expect to stay at the woman's house if visiting her?
It would be interesting to hear their point of view
That's a great idea, Dan. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do that soon.
If a person agreed to meet long distance, you should already let them know, if they can stay at your home or get a hotel, so they won't be thinking they coming to your house
Thank you. I know you men will snoop 'cause you all are nosy, that's one reason for the "Gentlemen Only" thread. So feel free to comment over there. Bye.
Friendship4ever: Have you been living under a rock? Don't you know that if that special part is not use for two or more years it grow back, hence being a virgin.
If that's been your experience Friendship...then, o-k.
Until a few years ago, if I felt "safe" after chatting with a man from online a few months: talking on the phone and seeing eachother on Skype, I'd stay at their place or they could stay with me. If I travelled to them, I always made sure to write their name, address, telephone number and the date for how long I would be gone, and leave it in my safe at home (my daughter knows the code to unlock it). If they were staying with me, I'd do the same, and not only leave a note in my safe, but also text the info to my best friend, just in case.
These days, I don't risk doing that anymore, I stay in a hotel if I visit someone, and when he comes to visit me, he has to book a.....better to be safe than sorry.

@ Grand: Don't know if it's gotten worse, and nothing happened, except that I had an operation on one of my knees almost 7 years ago, which has left me with lots of pain, a slight limp, and not being able to walk or run as good as I used to. So I wouldn't be able to kick a man in his groins and run away if I had to to defend myself.
