Dee I have looked at many video's on Youtube of abused kids..I always keep a box of tissues beside me when doing so..I remember coming across my first video of a newborn baby thrown in a washing machine with a pile of clothes..That load of clothes with the newborn baby went through an entire wash & spin cycle
The stories I listen to as well as the interrogations & trials in court blows my mind.The pictures are gut wrenching..Like you I'm at a loss but I will say I wish theses monsters were given the death penalty..In saying that people say the death penalty is an easy way out for them..People say jail them for life because they usually end up getting bashed repeatedly succumbing to their slow deaths by inmates who despise any criminal harming a child
I went to Youtube & searched this story you speak of..My jaw dropped when I came across the video & saw this battered child on life support..As soon as I log off I'm going to get the laptop & lay in bed whilst listen to this video of Gabriel Hernandez
The only thing I do enjoy are the adult in depth chats with other youtubers..Very respectful decent human beings..The discussions are very insightful from all walks of life

A few of many kids killed at the hands of their parent or parents.
Why is this such an ever increasing crime...why are kids who are there to be protected by thr very people so willing to take their lives.
Should they go to straight death penalty no questions asked? ( in cases where they have admitted guilt)...damn the ' everyone has the right to a fair trial BS....so many people out there dying for kids of their own and nowadays there's a new case in the news of paternal or maternal filicide.
Why does it happen and what will make it end.
That would certainly be one to reduce false confessions. Admit guilt and the punishment gets worse.A few of many kids killed at the hands of their parent or parents.

Maybe it is that being a successful parent requires traits not encouraged by the modern world. Humility, patience and a determination to welcome inconvenience with open arms. To have low narcissism.

Because that's really the point. By becoming a parent you are allowing someone to be sick on you whilst holding absolutely no ill-feeling towards them, towards the baby. It's low narcissism, the parent is hard to offend and hard to insult and if they're not the baby is in danger.

I don't get it at all...kids are just the best part of humanity really and truly...they teach us adults how to love and how to remember what it was like to have not been conditioned to hate...why are they the collateral damage to adults nott being able to see eye to eye...I say that because in alot of cases it's because the parents have split and the one parents kills the kids to punish the other parent.
All is very good thanks hope same for you. We have just come to the end of our Irish summer here, best 2 weeks of the year

How many more kids have to die before Mental Health is put to the top of health services list in any country.But I've no idea why parents end up killing their own children. Social services also is a joke ..so many have had intervention but to just have the kids put back into the parents care again...
