bodleing2: In Buddhist teachings it's far from a solution, in fact it's looked upon as the beginning of a nightmare.
Footnote...

I personally know of two people who's prevailing suicidal feelings were bannished for ever due to Buddhist teachings on the subject, even though their immediate circumstances remained the same.

bodleing2: I think people should maybe try and imagine how much suffering a person is going through to decide to end their life. It's not an easy way out, a cop out, a cowards way out, a surrender.....it' a fu@king tragedy that is beyond comprehension for those who have never been there.
