I am donating my whole body to be transplanted into the soil, to enrich many future generations of life with my nutrients.professor

Also, I watched an episode of Law and Order that freaked me out a bit. A guy was dying but could still feel and the doctor was harvesting his organs prematurely.help

Dust to dust for me baby.wink

I'm an organ donor. Why keep all your organs if it will heal someone else and extend their lives.

Ahhhh, in true Bulldog fashion!!! Very funny.............

Seriously, though, I think its very commendable - I take my hat off to anyone that is willing to contribute in this way. I only wish I could, truly, but my blood and organs are not good enough! Never mind, eh? But keep up the good work, y'all.

I have already signed the necessary paperwork for my entire carcass to be donated to the University of Washington when I am gone.
1) I think it is silly for people to pay thousands of dollars to deal with remains, as if the departed actually care. I sure don't.
2) Do not want my kids to lose any of their inheritance paying for something this stupid. Told them point blank that if they even attempt to claim my remains I would haunt them for it. I have worked to leave them something for themselves, not to be blowing it on something as useless as my remains. I care about as much as to what is done with my corpse as most people do about the shell of an egg they toss in the trash.
4) I do not believe that when you die you can be "found" in some hole in the ground where people go to leave flowers and such.
5) After having my mother's ashes in my possession, it just kinda grossed me out whenever anyone referred to that box of ashes as my MOM. I made my brother scatter them in the river behind her dream house, so they could go to the ocean and be with those of my sister.
6) I have always said that as long as I am good for a laugh I am good for something, so even if my tattoo makes a stressed out med student laugh, I have done some good.

you can donate live...bone marrow donors are needed. you can have your blood drawn at the red cross (or pretty much any place that you donate blood).

i donate blood regularly.

the majority of agencies that do bone marrow contributions want the donor to pay for the testing...and i don't have a spare 65 bucks in my pocket.

since this thread started, however...i've been in contact with one agency, and they are waiving the fee. the kit is in the mail as we speak.

Can't give blood due to heart disease. If I could I would

Don't care for needles myself. When they stick me, I have to look away but once in I can look with no problem
