no, i personally wouldnt. I am completely apathetic in that regard but I would and often have given some spare change on the street.
My home, my food are for me and mine. My clothes, are strictly for me!!
Besides, who wants beggar cooties?

I have bought them food with money I had .at McDonalds..Rest. ect...and I have allowed homeless people to stay with me before....usually ending with items being stolen by them....but I expected that so didn't matter....I don't think I will do it at my home again either....too much risk involved...I'm older and can't fight them off....

I wouldn't let just anyone in, no.

I give them resources, and alternatives if they're interested. I got amazing safe help when I needed it.

Some are not interested.
