This guy had a sign "Hungry anything will help", so I offered to buy him a sandwich and he said "no thanks but i'll take a beer". So no...not in my home
no, i personally wouldnt. I am completely apathetic in that regard but I would and often have given some spare change on the street. My home, my food are for me and mine. My clothes, are strictly for me!! Besides, who wants beggar cooties? Not being mean, its a valid point!!!!!!
I have bought them food with money I had .at McDonalds..Rest. ect...and I have allowed homeless people to stay with me before....usually ending with items being stolen by them....but I expected that so didn't matter....I don't think I will do it at my home again either....too much risk involved...I'm older and can't fight them off....
