ninamooshaSt. Ignace, Michigan USA146 Threads 1,285 PostsI spoke to my sister tonight on the phone....we were dicussing meeting men on the internet....She stated that she saw a program where they said that 65% of the men were dishonest on the internet. Anyone heard any statistics on this one? Do you feel that is about accurate....higher....or....lower?

I don't find the topic negative. Deceit is just a part of the world. People do it, but we're not alone. Other animals do it, such as birds that puff up to appear larger, and thereby more healthy, in order to attract mates. Some plants create odors which mimmic insect pheromes to fool insects into landing on them to spread pollen...

Well Im honest!
I look in the mirror in the morning (and bypassing the red eyes and ever-decreasing hairline) and look exactly like I am on my pictures.
I cant see the point in deceit when you want to make friends.
Im not looking for a relationship, so anyone I meet will be a friend.
If you chose to spend time with someone in a friendly capacity, why would you lie to them, and appear notas you really are?
Another set of questions about this dating game, that will always confuse me.
