Just wanted to say thank you for all the prayers, e-mails, and flowers. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
I went for all the test and still more to come. I had more x-rays done, a ultrasound (saunogram-typo?)of my thyroid, and went in the big round thingy, sorry don't know what the name, didn't like the stuff they shoot in you though. Then of course, my blood pressure was sky high, gee don't know why, lol. I thought they were going to drain my blood for test too. I spent all day for something I personally thought would only be a couple hours. The lady that did the ultasound gave me some hope. She said it doesn't look like cancer to her, but that she isn't a doctor either. She told me that it looks more like scarring than cancer ( never had an operation tho). Then Dr Ingramm said that I have Hyper-thyroidism (already knew), and thats a reason why I can't get my weight back up where it use to be. She told me that we may have to take care of that too and that she will have some options for me as well as the test results, when I get back from daytona.
Sure wish I had a woman to hold my hand while going thru all this, lol.
Arrebella (hope I spelled right) Keeping the ole' chin up, we beat it once we're going to do it again.
Dancingfarmer... Thank you soo much
Susie.. Thanks for thinking of me....
Wow!! for short, thanks for keeping me in your prayers and thinking about me, and also for the words of encouragement, Really needed them, this is pretty scarey.
So I'll catch up with all you folks when I get back from Daytona beach, And for all you folks that have snow and ice up to your butts, Naa na na naa na, my toes will be in sand lol. I'll be nice and bring some sunshine back north, lol.
