Words, yes, sentences, not always, pictures and movies in my head. I think in lots of ways. Are feelings thoughts, cause sometimes those just don't have words to fit.

Ya, I think emotions are a bit different. I often have a monologue running in my mind, but emotion is often unaccompanied by the monologue.

Abra, does classical music help you think?

It seems to help me with pattern recognition.

You think in presence or absence?

That would imply your thinking is fundamentally based on a system of absolutes.

I don't believe you...

i think...i see words, literally. i hear myself speaking monologue...i see pictures, colors...patterns, math...

if i wish, i can consciously manipulate these things...i can move the letters in my mind, or the patterns...and fit them in a different way without ever having to actually write them down.

if i don't like the way a problem, mathematical or otherwise, is working out...i'll brainstorm while using the opposite hand. if i started with my right, i'll switch to my left.

for some reason, my mathematical ability is higher when using my left hand, yet my spelling ability is lower. go figure.

I see in patterns...

sometimes mathmatical, sometimes geometrical contianing information from all five senses.

Its amazing how colors can have smells.

Now that's interesting, I have never heard of switching hands to alter thought process, or aptittude.

my mother suggested it...as each hand is controlled by the opposite side of your brain.

being ambidextrous, it's not difficult for me to do.

I have heard of something like this before, where people taste color,

and some colors were distastefull to the point of inducing nausea.

It's just a vague memory though.

So the idea being that use of one hand stimulates brain function in the corresponding opposite side of the brain?...that's cool.

I'm barely singly-dextrous, it's amazing to still have all of my fingers, and none of them are in jars.
