No I don't agree...Anyone can lead as happy and exciting a life as they choose to lead...It all depends on what your definition of happiness is....and it always starts with you being happy with yourself no matter what the outside circumstances are!!!!!!
No, I tend to disagree with you on that one! I think it may be balanced for the norm. If you're thinking about the celebrities? Pffft! Look at them! They may have the financial means on their side but look at the miserable lives they've led because of having so much money! Not to mention their lack of privacy! It's just so not about looks that makes for a happy life, no thanks to all of the media hype and magazines that try to brainwash everyone into thinking so!
True. I know many 'beautiful' people with everything and they are not happy. As well as many 'not so beautiful' people with nothing and they are happy.
It has been proven that the people in high schools who are "the most popular" and "most attractive" end up leading the lonliest and most unhappy lives of the entire class. There goes your theory. Life is whatever you put into it. You can be in a wheelchair with not much hope looking you in the face, but your attitude can make you into someone that everyone wants to be around and can even find you a reall great person to spend the rest of your life with. It's attitude, not any physical feature that'll move your crank.
actually, i provide medical care to the indigent and poor in the inner city a couple days a week...very poor people. Most seems fairly content and happy as they seem to have a strong faith.
The beautiful get treated differently to the normal and the less than norm.
We as Males prove this rule daily and even on this site. Those that we deem above average are responded to differently than others.
That is not to say that we as the "not above average" are any less happy or treated worse. It is just that the above average just don't quite suffer the same or for quite as long.
Case in point. Two cars were made to look broken down on the side of the main road about 1/2 a Km apart. One had a slightly overweight plain woman standing by her car dressed nicely. The other was a very nice model type female. Nicely dressed but very feminine. Well as you can guess the model type female had cars lininig up to help her within ten minutes. The other female had to wait an hour before a knight in shining armor pulled over to help her.
In a shop the beautiful will have assistants come and ask them if they need assistance or if they ask the asistant will drop what they are doing and aid.
The plain whilst receiving assistance will get the "in a moment" "can i just get the phone" or "certainly I'll just finish this pile and be right with you" or "oh its over there on that rack"
It is like being at school and those we considered cool and the rest of the school. The Cool always got treated slightly differently.

Obviously, this wouldn't hold true to everyone. But for the most part?
I honestly think so.
