Hi all! So, here goes, I'm meeting my 1st net peep this coming Friday night. I'm nervous as all get out. Do y'all have any advice for me? I'll probably be chain smokin' like a fool..lol Yes, I'm taking someone with me. Yes, I have tried on everything in my closet, No, I'm not going shopping for a new outfit, I HATE shopping..lol I will try to be myself, but sometimes nervousness gets in the way of that. If you have any advice...HELP! Thanks! Ponie
R-E-L-A-X if youve been talking a bit with them, then just go with the flow and let it come naturaly, like you've meeting all along. the first 3 minutes are the hardest, everything after that is absolutely grand
I was chatting w/ my new friend last night, and he said he thought maybe he'd take his little ones to Mickey D's for supper. (He lives about 20-25 miles from me) I said, "oh they have one where you live, I didn't know that." He said, "No, but they do in PDC." He came down, called me, I went to meet him. We had a blast! I had 2 of my children with me also. I think it was easier to relax with the kids there. Yes, I was nervous, but with it being so spur of the moment, I didn't have time to dwell on it. He got ahold of me when they got home, we're still on for Friday night! Thank You All!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 awsome hon, im glad it went well for you. 25 minutes away??....THATS IT?!?!?!?!? id have met the same night i started talking if that was the case, but im not too aprehensive about that sort of thing
LOL thanks x!! We just met online this past Sunday. I was a little apprehensive about meeting so soon, but it worked out alright. I have been chatting with him alot off/on the last couple days, and I guess I felt comfortable enough to meet him.. He's a really sweet guy! Thanks again hun. Ponie
