What if the greatest courage...

is the will to do nothing.


No violence...not even in self defense, or the defense of others.

Willingness to die rather than be ruled,

but unwilling to take up arms for any cause.


Is there enough blood lust in the world to wipe-out an entire population that can not be governed?


If not...and we survived...

Would we see violence for what it is?...violent.

Would we stop enhancing our aggressiveness through nature and nurture?

Value the health of the environment AHEAD of the health of the economy.

Ocee!! you hit it!! this is where i live/lived for such a long time.


this is where , when one walks the walk , the ego meets every test, every button, and every other ego!!

until one night... it's a horrible story. not fit for anyone to read or even listen to.

i betrayed my deepest self , my ethics , my ideals , all i had held close in my heart about these very things you speak of.

it was the winter of 1993 november, bosnia and a raging war i was 4 months pregnant with Inanna.


i have to say that if i had NOT BEEN PREGNANT, maybe i would not be here, nor the 61 children with me and 4 colleagues and nor Inanna.


instinct, and my maternal protectivness took me to the darkest place i have or ever will be in my life.


i see violence for what it is
i embrace my dark side now
as equally as my bright side
they are both necessary for the life of eachother.



some day maybe i'll tell ya the story... ya need to have an empty stomach.

Truth needs NO Defense.

Truth is Violence is ALWAYS Wrong and there is NO RIGHT WAY to do a wrong thing.

If you choose to share that story sometime...I will listen,

but I'll not ask you to go poking around in those types of memories for my benefit.


That said...

I don't think we posses the type of courage I described...

I just find the possibilty interesting.


Unreachable goals hold value to me...

it seems there could be aot to learn

on a path with no end.

There are problems for which an answer does not exist within the level of conciousness wherein the problem is contained.... A "higher" level of conciousness is required or the "problem" continues to self perpetuate......we've kept some of them for several thousand years, repeating the solutions that aren't.....

The pain continues....

and it is thru this pain and this process that i have my relationship with humanity....



this earth is violent! we are indigenous of the planet! or did you forget..... we are designed to do this dance.


it's rich



we don't have to eliminate violence we just need to find balance with it.


i don't know the answer to this

violence

the design is in the dance...

while here, intent and sacrifices made

in violences name, made names

violence is in all things nature

while we are all connected and part of the whole
and more...

the gift to make decisions is unique to us

I'm not talking instinctual choices...

we can accept violence in part, as pertaining to all things nature

yet, we can choose not to strike

honorable protections are still violence, with intentional differences

noone is exempt

what we carry, and how we use it later? ahh, there we are!

cataclysmic(sp) events happen. the way of the universe


choosing to stay in a place is a personal decission, based on what is inside you...

you can try to pull others in to share it with you, but that isn't thier personal choice, the pulling.

we can decide to live a balance, and come undone when it's thrown off...

there is give and take... no complete balance.
