If you do not wish to lie about ANYTHING, then don't. Do not compromise your morals for any reason, but especially not to "impress" a girl or get her to notice you because your age doesn't fall into the age range she picked. I think most fill out a profile picking their most likely ideal for them, but then doesn't throw away something they find that "floats their boat" just because the person didn't "fit" into their age range. For example, according to my profile, you do not match the age range I selected...and I noticed you. Besides, agreeing with the majority here, age is only a number. Some are just bigger than others.

Are you sure you're not lying about your age though, I mean you could be really 27 but saying you're 35 so you get all the compliments saying you look great for your age

I'm 50 and proud of it! Why would I wanna lie about it? I could, I got asked for my ID by an overzealous clerk when buying cigs the other day. Now that is a bit unreal, I don't look 18, but they're supposed to ask anyone that looks under 29, so it did make me feel good. Now I could lie and get 30-something guys, actually had one that age interested anyway, but what would I want with a kid that age?

If I found out someone lied about his age the trust is gone. Why lie? Just not worth it and if someone doesn't want you because you are a certain age it is their loss.
