i like some of his earlier stuff, but his last few albums have not had as much richness, in both the music and the lyrics, often this is the case with artists in that they sign up a record contract for 5 albums and the first 1-2 are good then the next few are below par as the artist is just reaching a deadline and thus the real expressionalism and passion is lacking.. and it becomes more about money and less about producing a quality product...
its hard to know what tpe of person he is, as tv generally paints a somewhat false picture... i'm sure he means well and is merely a product of a rough environment.. he as talent!!!

I can't say i much care for hip hop/rap but I kinda like eminem. think he's funny as hell and an obvious talent. Just wish he was singing rock n roll instead

I like his newer cd's beter there more serious. His first cd was like a JOke, and then they got better but the marshall mathers LP was the best in my opinion he talked about his father issues, mother, wife.. Then eminem show was a really good one too... talking about bush, chaney, and all that

This kind of hits close to home since my ncle dated his mom years ago and we used to play together as little kids but i cannot stand him.
He has always spent too much time cutting down other musicians to help with his fame and has even used his own daughter in songs.
In the song 97 Bonnie and Clide he raps about killing his wife while saying everything that is going to happen to his daughter.
In another song he has his daughter in it while he makes like he is doing coke in the beginning and then goes off on his mom and everything else.
It's one thing to be a controversial rapper but it is something else to bring your daughter into things.

I for one use to listening to his music, until he started the bashing of his mom and wife or ex at that time... I think personal life should be kept to a mininum... He as a artist is great, but I felt he needed to grow up a little, so I stop listening to him many years ago..
