That's on the 23 of june...

It is the day where the medieval wise men and women (the doctors of that time) would gather special herbs that they needed for the rest of the year to cure people.

It has been celebrated since the times of the Vikings, by visiting healing water wells and making a large bonfire to ward away evil spirits. Today the water well tradition is gone. Bonfires on the beach, speeches, picnics and songs are traditional, although bonfires are built in many other places where beaches may not be close by (i.e. on the shores of lakes and other waterways, parks, etc.). In the 1920s a tradition of putting a witch made of straw and cloth (probably made by the elder women of the family) on the bonfire emerged as a remembrance of the church's witchburnings from 1540 to 1693. (Unofficially a witch was lynched as late as 1897.) This burning sends the witch—and by extension, all our cares and worries—away from us, to Bloksbjerg, the mountain 'Brocken' in the Harz region of Germany where the great witch gathering was thought to be held on this day.

I'm such an idiot!frustrated
This guy sent me yesterday an e-mail saying "You're too old for me"...you know,"look at me how smart and funny I am" - like.
And what the above-mentioned idiot does? She replies "Well,I guess I won't be in your will, then".
Why nobody told me that rusty knight was Mr. Ritchie Rich in disguise, huh?mumbling His dad just gave him an expensive gift,he throws parties for 500 people in London and that's just the beginning.I bet he has hundreds of stories like that;he's a newcomer, give him some time...
Damn it!! I just missed the opportunity to make him fall in love with me and ask me to marry him.
You see,Ritchie boy,in a couple of years I could have made you adore me (if you were still alive that isgrin )and, afterwards,I could have left you for another man (with a functional brain, for a change).
sigh What a pity!We could have been so hapy together...

Somebody, please, help me get this silly song* out of my head!

I think it'll be with Huntigrugen (however you spell it) - they have a special offer at the end of August - just because my dad's paying doesn't mean I have to rip him off. I couldn't see any cheap flights to Bergen but I can get a one pence flight to one of the Oslo airports with Ryan Air - then get the train over the mountains to Bergen for about 600 kroner - the cruise starts on the 28th August for 12 days and if I fly out from Malta late on the 26th i can get an early flight on the 27th to Oslo, get across to Bergen and stay overnight there in a hotel. Does that sound sensible to you? I hear that the mountain railway Oslo to Bergen is an experience - is late August too late in the year? I see average maximum temperatures in the day on the coast are about 50F - cool, b ut not freezing.
